基于形状记忆合金在热效应下的形状记忆特性和磁流变液的流变特性,介绍了形状记忆合金控制的圆筒式磁流变液制动器工作原理;基于Bingham本构模型,得到了圆筒式磁流变液制动器在外加磁场作用下的制动力矩方程;基于力矩平衡方程,得到了制动时间表达式;基于形状记忆效应,得到了电热形状记忆合金开关输出行程与温度、结构参数、材料参数、工作载荷等参数之间的关系式。研究结果表明:形状记忆合金开关的输出行程随温度的变化而变化,磁流变液制动器的制动力矩随外加磁场的增加而增大,制动时间随外加磁场的增加而迅速缩短。
This paper aims to propose a cylindrical magnetorheological fluid brake controlled by shape memory alloy,based on the shape memory effect of shape memory alloy under thermal effect and the rheological behavior of magnetorheological fluid.The shape memory alloy can be used to control the current that induces magnetic field. The Bingham model is used to describe the constitutive characteristics of magnetorheological fluid subject to an applied magnetic field to derive the braking torque equation of cylindrical magnetorheological fluid brake. The expression of the braking time can be obtained from the torqueequilibrium equation of the braked shaft. The relationships of the shape memory alloy switch ’s output displacement with the temperature,the size parameters,the material parameters and the operating load are established based on the shape memory effect. The results indicate that the output displacement of the shape memory alloy switch can change rapidly with the temperature. With the increase of the applied magnetic field strength,the braking torque developed by magnetorheological fluids goes up rapidly,and the braking time is shortened.
