Research on longitudinal vibration characteristics of suspended whole-set electronic belt scales
To address the issue of weighing instability caused by material loading impact on suspended whole-set electronic belt scales
a coupled longitudinal vibration model was established for the TLW-155 belt scale to investigate its dynamic vibration characteristics and optimize system structural parameters.
Methods
2
Firstly
the viscoelastic behavior of the conveyor belt was characterized utilizing a fractional-order Kelvin-Voigt model combined with wave fluctuation analysis. The resulting local fractional differential equations for the conveyor table were solved analytically via the fractional complex transform method. Secondly
a mechanics model for the ball-bowl loader under eccentric impact load was derived and solved numerically using the fourth-order Runge-Kutta method. Finally
dynamic longitudinal coupling profiles were simulated across different fractional orders and belt speeds
which were then validated through empirical measurements using a six-axis acceleration sensor.
Results
2
The forced response duration of the suspended scale body under material impact excitation is approximately 0.3 s. The maximum dynamic displacement of the conveyor belt is 4.5 mm
exhibiting typical damped attenuation
with fractional orders of 0.6-0.8 yielding the best agreement with actual viscoelastic features. The ball-bowl loader tests a larger maximum longitudinal displacement amplitude of 12 mm
lasting for about 0.7 s before returning to its equilibrium position under gravity
which serves as the dominant disturbing factor for weighing stability. The measured longitudinal acceleration curves correlate strongly with the fractional-order simulation model
