DAMAGE IDENTIFICATION METHOD BASED ON CROSS MODEL CROSS MODAL METHOD AND L1 REGULARIZATION
A damage identification method based on CMCM and L
1
regularization is proposed. Firstly
the basic principle of cross modal method and the characteristics of L
2
regularization and L
1
regularization are introduced. The proposed method was then validated with a steel frame structure in a laboratory. The results show that the combination of CMCM and L
2
regularization can easily lead to misjudgment of undamaged elements
while L
1
regularization in CMCM can identify structural damage more accurately. Even if only the first measurement mode is used
t
he L
1
regularization technique can be used to solve the CMCM equation to accurately identify the damage of the frame structure.
